Sin Hang Tse

Sin Hang is a wine buyer at Ginsberg + Chan Wine Merchants Asia. His interest having been sparked by a wine module of his hospitality studies, Sin Hang enrolled in WSET courses, recently gaining his DipWSET with Merit, becoming one of the youngest graduates in Hong Kong. Sin Hang’s youth always set him apart during his wine classes, with many of his peers commenting to him “wow, so young”, and this has made him determined to “change the stereotype that “wine is a mature audience’s product””. Despite his relatively recent entry into the wine world, Sin Hang has had a wealth of experience during that time, working as a sommelier, in wine retail and in winemaking, to name but a few different competencies he has tried. Indeed, his winemaking internship at Château la Conseillante was remarkable, not only for the experience which it gave Sin Hang, but also because he became the first Asian intern to work at the winery. Sin Hang is determined to continue his journey in wine, with the eventual aim of attaining the MW qualification.
