Jing Jin

Jing is a Sales & Marketing Operations Manager working with Delicato Wines in Napa Valley, California. Originating from Jiangsu province in Eastern China, in 2014 Jing joined the team at Delicato as a marketing intern, and has been there ever since, working hard and being promoted steadily upwards to her current role, in which she, among many other duties, organised and prepared 2 booths for the company at ProWein. She is a polyglot and a lover of the world’s cultures, speaking fluent Mandarin and English, professional-level Japanese and some intermediate German, and indeed she wishes her role to be “a functional bridge between East and West, contributing to cross-culture communication and global wine business”. She has been part of the MW Programme since 2020, passing Stage 1 in 2022 and now studying towards her Stage 2 progression. She is unafraid of the challenges facing the industry, and indeed she wants to raise awareness and work towards fixing some of the one she perceives; for example, the lack of openings for newcomers within the international teams of wineries, particularly those which are family owned. We have no doubt that Jing’s proven track record of determination and hard work will continue to bear fruit, and wish her the best of fortunes with both her MW preparations, and her continued professional development.
